Lake County Tech Hub
The Lake County Tech Hub and Business Incubator, Waukegan DSC was asked to repurpose the existing Waukegan Police Sub-station in Waukegan’s CBD into a business incubator. With minimal moving of walls, the new space allowed for both open office space and private offices, large conference /training rooms as well as board room meetings. Beyond the reworking the plan, a major challenge was replacing the 1980’s IT backbone with state of the art networking and phone, and entrance keypad security systems.
