Who We Are
Design Studio C, Ltd. was founded in 1998 to offer professional architectural services that cater to entrepreneurial clients. We specialize in detailed commercial projects and complicated homes on small infill lots as well as intricate home remodelings throughout the collar counties around Chicago, Illinois as well as southeastern Wisconsin.
We offer residential and commercial, as well as design/build firm services to homeowners, small business owners, local homebuilders and developers. Furthermore, since we develop one or more projects a year, either for ourselves or for our clients, we see the entire project from both the owner’s perspective and the contractor’s.
We measure our success with our strong repeat customer base. The vast majority of our projects come from repeat customers or direct referrals.
Our practice has blossomed from a staff of 2 into its current staff of 4 hard-working individuals. We look forward to expanding our practice even more over the next few years as we continue to serve our existing clients as they pursue larger commercial and municipal projects.

Everyone is talking about Green Buildings and LEED® lately. What you may not know is that Design Studio C, Ltd. has already been incorporating energy-efficient and environmentally conscious design in the background of our core architectural practice catering to entrepreneurial clients. We recognize that marketing of green building practices can create a competitive advantage, which can be aided by LEED certification. Design Studio C, Ltd. now has an in-house LEED AP who can assist our clients in pursuing LEED certification for their projects, whether new construction or major renovations of existing buildings. Developers may be interested in pursuing Core and Shell certification to attract tenants.
