The Harbor’s Edge
New urban café at Waukegan Harbor. The winning response to the Waukegan Port Authority’s RFP for a seasonal venue, the café was designed and built on a tight deadline, opening just 60 days after winning the right to the project. Design Studio C, Ltd. provided design and construction management services, in collaboration with the Greater Waukegan Development Coalition and the management team at The Harbor’s Edge. The design frames views of Waukegan Harbor from the seating areas.
