Mixed Use at 106 Center Street, Grayslake: Study for a Mixed-use development in downtown Grayslake, with first floor retail and multi-family residential above, in a historic, walkable community.
Design Studio C, Ltd. was asked to work with the Greater Waukegan Development Coalition (GWDC) to envision a development for a vacant City-owned site with the hopes of creating a baseline for future development. The proposed development would include market-rate entry level townhouses, apartments with street-level retail, a live/work building, and a new Black Box theater to expand the growing downtown Theater District.
